This time I have my hands on a Dwarven Gyrocopter.
1. After undercoating it wit
Chaos Black I have painted the Hull in
Caledor Sky.
2. Next step was painting metal parts in Leadbelcher and adding Drakenhof Nightshade to the blue painted parts.
3. The seat was painted in Khorne Red.
4. Using
Nuln Oil as a shade for the seat.
5. I was then using
Khorne Red again as a first highlight.
6. As second highlight with
Wazdakka Red was applied. The Seat is finished.
7. Metal parts are shaded also with Nuln Oil.
8. Golden coloured parts have been painted with
Balthasar Gold.
9. As you might have noticed, the Pilot was also painted with Base Colours. For the Jacket and the Trousers I took
Dryad Bark, and
Zandri Dust for the Fur. The Gloves and the Shoes have been painted in
Mournfang Brown. The Helmet was painted in
Leadbelcher and
Balthasar Gold, the Lenses in
Caledon Sky. Also
Jokaero Orange has been used for the Beard.
10. The Clothes have been shaded with
Nuln Oil and highlighted again with Mournfang Brown, Dryard Bark and
Zandri Dust. The Beard was shaded with
Carroburg Crimson and afterwards it was highlighted with
Jokaero Orange and Fire
Dragon Bright. The Lenses have been shaded using
Drakenhof Nightshade and were highlighted with
Caledon Sky and
Hoeth Blue.
11. The Green Lense was painted using
Caliban Green and
Warpstone Glow.
12. Highlights on the Hull have been made with
Caledor Sky. Also the Rotors have been painted in
Zandri Dust and were shaded with
Seraphim Sepia.
13. I have painted highlights on the Rotors using Zandri Dust.
14. The Ropes on the Rotors have been painted in Ushabti Bone. So they are slightly brighter than the rest of the Rotors.
15. The Bombs were done in Leadbelcher and shaded with Agrax Earthshade.
16. Finally the Model itself is painted. Only the Base left...
17. Blackfire Earth was applied to the Base. The Stone parts have been undercoated using Abaddon Black.
18. Stone has been painted in
Celestra Grey and the Skulls in
Zandri Dust.
19. Stone and Base was shaded using
Nuln Oil. The Skulls in
Agrax Earthshade.
20. Highlights on the Stones were made using
Celestra Grey and the highlights on the Skulls were done with
Zamesi Desert and
Ushabti Bone. The Base was Drybrushed using
Zamesi Desert.
21. Base was drybrushed with
Ushabti Bone and the Border of the Base was painted in
Mournfang Brown.
